Was this an attempted performance mod?

Interesting...."Platinum possesses remarkable resistance to chemical attack, excellent high-temperature characteristics, and stable electrical properties. All these properties have been exploited for industrial applications. Platinum does not oxidise in air at any temperature, but can be corroded by cyanides, halogens, sulfur, and caustic alkalis. This metal is insoluble in hydrochloric and nitric acid, but does dissolve in the mixture known as aqua regia (forming chloroplatinic acid)." makes one wonder what is contained in rat urine !

Looks like someone tried to smuggle a pound of Maui Wowie in your car.

No wonder you're smiling.

LMAO I had just bought the car I think a week earlier .... what a surprise! And the MAF indeed needed replacement.

Wow. Most nest are not that green. The filter looks to be salvageable.

Sorry to hear that. Rodents always pose a problem. I found a new product that I'll be using during storage this year that's all natural and (from what I'm told) works very well. It's called "Mouseaway All Natural Rodent Repellant", and it's from http://www.weather-out.com/mouse.html. It has a pleasant peppermint smell as well!
