One thing I do not like about my 1979 HVAC system is that I do not have the ability to switch the compressor on and off via a button on the dash. Once the slider is moved to the right, the compressor is powered in all positions. It appears that adding this capability would be pretty straight forward.

Have any the other OB owners out there made this mod? If so, I would be interested in knowing what type of switch was used.
