Default Need measurement on '85-'86 car

I would like to know what the distance is from the back face of the radiator (core) to the rear-most edge of the radiator fan shroud (where the fan sits in it).

That is, if you placed the fan with one blade straight up, then set a ruler flat (horizontal) running front to back, the slid the 0-end of the ruler forward until it touched the radiator core, what is that distance from the rad-core to the rear-most portion of the plastic around the fan blades.

I am contemplating using the '85/'86 fan shroud on my SuperModel S4, and mounting a 16" fan on the back of the shroud, if there is room between the back of the shroud and the front of the engine.

Thanks!

I have the one that Andy included in the kit. He had suggested setting it in front of the rad, in pusher configuration.

I get approx. 3 1/4" to the back of the fan blade and 3 3/4 to the back end of the fan shroud.
