Exclamation Can I test/adj my timing belt?

I have just returned from my first (of many I'm sure) 928 outing in Boston since buying my red 88 S4 w/5spd in June and I have a question. I've performed many tasks on my car to keep it on the road without hammering my bank account such as updating and converting the AC system, installing a new stereo, plugs and wires, installed new motor mounts, new alternator, re-sealed the steering rack and installed new tie rods but I'm a little scared about adjusting the tension on the timing belt. Does anybody know of a site that will clearly show me the step by step process including using the tool properly?

The only down side to attending the Boston event was I felt out of place because I ONLY own 1 928. Hope do you all own more than one and stay married?

Thanks

MReilly... multiple ownership ? It's easy.

You just do what Shane did... immolate one
as a sacrifice to the shrine of the Porsche gods.

Enjoy your shark.

G'luck.

p.s. and join Rennlist, of course. Then peruse
the fine classifieds, and voila', another shark.

Ha! I think she was secretly happy that happened, although she mustered up some simpathy for me the first couple of weeks. When she found out I bought the gray one she flipped.
