You and I are at exactly the same stage - just got the intake bolted down a couple of minutes ago. But as I was struggling to get my big paws in under the intake to hook up the damn wires, I heard a brittle snap. Just found out I broke the f$#@!!# vacuum connector at the brake booster - damnit. I'm going to hold off putting in the injectors now and go order the part. I was so hoping to get her up and running this afternoon.

I like it Rick, but I can't believe you couldn't find green hoses!
Great job, dude.

Lookin' good Rixter. But, may I suggest that a silver oil filler cap would have better contrast than the green. I'm diggin' the green cam covers!

Love the color!!!!!!!!! That rocks!

Great job.

I did a very similar color combo (in metalic blue) with my 85 including the coated oil filler cap because the yellow one just does not go. Eventually I ditched the oil filler for a Jager one

in aluminum with a silver crest. The cap ends up being an overlay on a modified OEM cap so you still get the OEM fit and more importantly the O-ring seal. It was a big improvement.

Doesn't Jager sell a billet aluminum one? That would totally compliment all that beautiful work.
