Default High RPM engine builds?

Whoa! 5.8L GTS motor on ebay. Does anyone know who the builder is, of this monster with a valve train that can handle up to 8500 RPM? Is something this beefy even streetable?

Interesting. The ad says that this is a solid lifter motor. In the pictures you see the solid lifters, but no shims. How do you adjust the valves on this engine?

Most of the older cars didn't use shims. You had to carefully grind the tip of the valve stem till the required clearance was obtained.

Normy, no valve locks in the pic either, but I would bet it uses them

"We have the ability to make this a pure race engine, capable of 8500 rpm and extreme power levels if that is your desire."
