WHAT a great time you all must of had, i wasnt able to run north with the porsche gathering in Nashua but i did make it to crown plaza to see the gathering,,,, nice group of porsche makes, just missing a cayman a cayenne ,356 and 550 to round it all out Ooo and a Carrera GT.
Little side note: My wife works for the Nashua Police in communications, She got a call in from a police officer asking "Any one know whats going on at Crown Plaza?>>>Theirs like 30 Porsches getting on the highway!!" must of been the same officer that was running a speed trap at Exit 8.
Know one knew anything but my wife informed them after that it was a leaf peeping run = )
Id like to THANK Sid for the TOPGEAR episodes!!!!! THANK YOU SID!!! iv beed pineing for them!!
Hearing the good time had by all just makes me realy want to get ''Animals" other 928 fixed so i can drive it....hehehe

Would it be out of line to suggest that there are some possibilities here for next years leaf peeping tour?

Sound like everyone had a good time. I wish I could have made it.

Could have been hairy. Had I not been blocked by a Jetta on exit 8 I would have come on that cop a lot quicker than I would have liked. He already had someone, but still.

I'm surprised he didnt' nab any of us.

A good time was had by all. Thanks to Sid for organizing and Gretch for hosting!

I tried loading a photo but it was too large to post here and I'm having trouble reducing it. I have a picture over on Pelican.

Yeah that's the flip side to getting people's attention, you sometimes get the "wrong" people's attention. Luckily that Nashua cop didn't radio to any state troopers about our "gathering". If he saw us getting on the highway, then he certainly saw us pulling away rather quickly.

Quickly and sometimes slightly sideways.

Thanks to Sid and Gretch... it was a great time. sorry to scoot early, but the human fuel needed refilling and that wedding party was going to put a damper on it happening quickly... anycase, it was a great time. boy, that statie had me a bit worried after some of us 928's streched our legs on 93... but, the upside is, I may have validated my screen name to some of you... maybe? lol.

You missed out.

We got a room to ourselves upstairs in the lounge. Food wasn't quick in coming, but not to bad.

I thought for sure that Statie was going to do something. Thank Jeff Charlie had a radar detector or we would have been dead meat.

As someone pointed out later though. The ticket almost would have been worth the picture of 20 or so Porsches in a line with a cop car up front and a cop standing at the first car.

"The minivan was a pain, but the smoke was not intended for him."

INtended or not, I'm sure it pissed him off to no end if us just running through the pass annoyed him.

Don't care why you did it in front of him, I just sleep better at night knowing you did.

Would you have laughed if I told the cop I only had half the cylinders, so my ticket should have only been half as much.

OK... after having that much fun with so many local 928's on Saturday I had to make my way over the 928 board here on Rennlist and check out what stories everyone is telling.

It was a BLAST !

Sid - thanks for pulling it together, and even spreading the word to the air-cooled side of the family.

Waaaaaay too much fun.............Tony Q has video of me hammering my 89 GT Supershark up the on ramp at exit 28.............I cannot wait to see that. Some very nice cars and people showed up on Saturday. And Sid picked the right day, because it rained ALL DAY Sunday. I hope daredevil managed to stay ticket free on his ride home to Montreal. The vermont ststies bagged him on the way down.....

Oh yeah, and on Sunday I made Moose ribs...........Woo!
