Oh man what a gem that strosek..... But a hefty pricetag also, good to see these cars going up in value...Nice colour and wheels, I do miss a big wing on the back though..
Here you have three different Strosek wings.

Yes, mine is the same as on your blue dreammachine. If it didn't destroy the original 1987 custom look I would have a similar one like on your red Strosek. Maybe mounted a bit lower but it is a nice wing regardless of height...
You put the kid who's always cold in the left rear seat, and the other kid in the right rear seat.
Never realized that there were painted and unpainted big resonators- on cars with small resonators there were some that were essentially polished from the factory and others that had a much duller finish (that I don't think was just exposure to road grime). Not enough cars that have been so beautifully cleaned up that it becomes obvious there are two types!
Rob, my 1987 blue 928S4 Strosek has the big resonators painted gray. The 1991 red 928S4 Strosek Ultra has the small polished resonators.
Both cars have the catalytic converter removed. The exhaust sound from the red car is much sharper. Must be the small resonators.

I can’t quite figure out the exact pattern but I have yet to see a short side black resonator on a manual car. Seems to be very late ‘93 - ‘94 as I have not see it on the earlier cars. And the 95’s don’t have it from the ones I’ve looked at. The small resonators on my GT are polished and all the GT’s I’ve seen are this way, they have a very high stainless level and they stay really nice. It’s just so odd to paint only one side.
Also the resonator is black. The rear muffler has a faded grey metallic / charcol paint, its completely a different color. My only logic is that maybe they had 2 suppliers and this was the best way to distinguish one from another?
