today last prep for the rally end of the week.... a sump protection plate. ( first and only rally begin this year ,before Covid lock down ,with the 928 ,i had severe scares on the sump .... but ok, now stiffer springs and dialed in at max height . ) So we should be safe.... i hope.

Yes, oem the sump is low and springs soft .... scary dangerous for a rally. I'm lucky the first rally we didn't broke the sump or alternator /AC taking a piece of motor with it !
That rally had a track stage , was fun and the 928 was on his best being level there....
Very slow traffic stuck in a tunnel notice overheating with steam from under hood. Managed to get out and park, engine surging at the end. Couldn't open hood as release broke...waiting for a flatbed for a pick up fearibg the worst...
