Why not? If a 928 spends its first 120k-miles getting started with the clutch disengaged why would one expect less than quite a bit of thrust bearing wear?
Not measured. It's not something I routinely measure on a 5-speed. And by the time I take a picture of the bearing does it matter? From the moment the load leveler was attached this block was destined for greater things.
What was the crank endplay measurement?
