Made this this afternoon. Yes, I know you can buy one...but it's the principle.

Torched an outline I scribbled down on a piece of steel, ground edges, heat treated, hammered for extra strength...and added a rubber shrink tube handle cover...for my delicate hands...lol.

Even added a part number...928BA. (BA...my initals)

Should make adjusting ride height easier...no more removing front wells for access...whoo hoo!

If anyone is interested...I will make another one for around two grand...plus shipping.

Brian.

Its amethyst with magenta interior. Had it for few years and did ton of work but it would need much more.

Friend has it now as his winter beater. For summer use he has '90 GT with some track mods. There is also another local '89 S4 manual with same velvet red color.

This do not look like it but there are some 928 pieces underneath. Chassis is from Isdera and as usual its suspension is from 928.

Pretty wild but I need a windscreen or helmet.

Found this interesting while at Pepboys the other day.

Your headlights need to be adjusted, you need a centering pin when doing alignment, you have a silly front license plate with holes drilled through your FBC, and your not driving her. T

Anywho, back to having some pictures in this thread. This shifter is the best $8 I ever spent. I ruffed up the chrome parts and painted them flat black. They're also on Amazon for a couple bucks more. It fits on the shaft without an adapter.

No affiliation.

Science project up and running today. Copy Cad Zinc Plating with Yellow Chromate finish. First couple of samples worked out pretty well just need to refine my technique with the power supply.
I purchased the kit and most parts required from Caswell Australia.
I have attached a link for those that are interested.
