Not sure if you can do your motor mounts while the cross member is in, but if I were you, I'd get after them while the exhaust is out. Just did my motor mounts on my 84 without dropping the cross member, and the exhaust was the biggest issue. Just thought I'd mention it, since your oil pan is well below the cross member. Granted, maybe its not possible in your car...but worth checking...since your oil pan looks pretty dry.

Keen eye, and thanks for the advice, but...the mounts are fresh solids. The pan looks low because it is low. I am running Greg Brown oil pan extension. Giveaway is the small starter motor which is hidden pretty well by the sway bar. And camera angle makes it look even lower.

I'm really starting to enjoy this December driving. Thankfully the Michelin's on Tawny are a good cold weather tire since it was 30 degrees today. She gets squirrely in 1st gear around a corners with the cold pavement and I'm not exactly pushing it on the ramps....still enjoying the overtime driving this warm winter.

Finally moved the cars into their new home.

Left front - MY '88 928S4
Right front (with all the dust) - MY '89 928S4
Blue blob closest to camera - MY '89 944S2. I covered it as I didn't want to distress dedicated 928 fans.
