GTS rubstrip delete. Surprised they didn't set the whole car on fire in the process...

Don, Your car looks great! Where did you get the Jacquemond wing? Are they still available for purchase or do you have to wait for one to "show up" on one of the threads here?

Did it mount right up or did you have to fabricate something?

Thanks for any info and more pics up close if you've got them.

Went by to check on Nick's progress on the color sand and buffing... Had all the areas to be color sanded done and had just started the polishing of the hood area to bring shine back after the color sand...

Here are a couple pictures of the hood, one showing area color sanded and not yet buffed, the other buffed though not done, still has a couple more cuts to do to it then wax. Even without the buffing and wax it is incredible the clarity in the shine and reflection!

Edit.. Pic on the top is color sanded and not cut in with buffing pad, bottom is portion of front of hood after first buffing cut, no wax

I am STOKED waiting to see it all done!

Pic taken here in Japan last weekend, near Hakone.
My 1990 S4 survived the quake in Tokyo without a single scratch! Very lucky!
Wasn't able to buy gas for a few weeks due to shortages, but I'm back on the road now!

Picked up the car from the tint guys. I went w/ 20% on the sides and limo tint on the hatch. Man, I don't know how you guys see out your windows with 5% all around.

Wow - don't think I've ever seen that before on a manual shifter.

Did you design/fabricate it yourself, Jim?
