Dave, that's very well done. Looks stock. I bet it would get by quite a few of the smog check guys here in Cali.

Thanks for the kind words. I went with the black rubber parts and raw glassbeaded finish so that it would look like a factory effort. Unfortunatly the glass bead turned out to be my downfall .

I am prepping the replacement engine and the new install will be even cleaner than before because now I can strip and paint the engine bay. Work progresses and I am still having fun

What was the problem with the glass beaded finish?

Hope to see this beauty in person later this year.

Glass bead problem...sounds like it might be the same problem that a good friend of mine experienced. The result in his case was a 6.5L vario cam engine!
