Just an update and a thank you to all that helped. Per Dennis' suggestion, I removed the fuel distributor and cleaned the control pressure piston and bore. While out, I also added approx. 1 mm in shims to the pressure regulator. Re-installed and my lean condition is gone! System pressure increased to 84 psi and all others are within spec.
I just wanted to close the issue and say thanks to all that offered suggestions and insight. Special thanks to the gurus, Dennis, Robbie, Scott and JP. Even though I've had the shark for 5 or 6 years, I really haven't had need to get into the CIS. It's been about thirty years since my last encounter with CIS in a 911.
