Wow that car is very nice...! I'm sure there is some sort of discrepancy between my car and that one, since I paid $10k for mine about 7 years ago.
I love the red interior, and the nice part is that it would probably hide dirt too.
N!

That looks very nice. Make sure you contact the seller as a backup buyer. You never know...

That car is really nice. The seller made a poor decision ( upon closer reading). As beerfish's experiences keep on letting everyone know, the LH euro is the best 928 out there. That was a low mile good shape car and it went for half price. A fantastic deal for someone.

WOW! That car is AWESOME! What a deal!!!
Did you notice the cool lower kick panel door speakers? 5.25's!! NICE! One of the few shades of red I have ever liked!

Yeah. Bummer. Not like I have $7K cold cash kicking around, but I could've mustered the capital. I procrastinated, then hesitated, then didn't have the time or inclination to run the VIN. I'm not real enamored of the burgundy interior...but even the dash looks crack-less. Sheeez.. I'm just going to go sulk and tell myself it was probably a flood car (not). Damn self-doubt!!

Sweet car! I remember test driving one alot like that in '85 that was imported by a pilot that brought it in on the side. I think he wanted $43K... Calculations: $36K over 21 years = $1,700 per year depreciation, plus uh, maintenance costs... The new buyer gets a better deal!

Bad timing (new baby, possible move, turbo project) or I would have boght that car. I considered emailing him to see if he would take $8000. I have my eye on another Euro, an 84 5 speed with rebuilt box, no sunroof. Someone made a really good buy on that one!

Sad to say ...
The guy who is selling the car is one of our finest in the military service. I offered to hold the car for him and have my mechanic do the up keep (needed to get clearance from the Mrs. first, at my cost). I figured since he is about to put it all on line for all of us hear stateside, this was the least I could offer in exchange. I just hope the guy who won the auction has the heart to sell the car back to him when he returns.
Sigh, a serviceman's toy lost is the best we can hope for now.
