Woodward Ave Dream Cruise Video! - Now with link to download - Hurry!
People really seemed to like my last video of the Fresh Water Frenzy - Sharks in Hell, I decided to make one for our Woodward Ave Dream Cruise event.
Let's just say, the weather sucked, but the people were great!
Enjoy.

Great video… too bad it was raining on Woodward Ave.
I like your other video as well. Next year I hope to go to Hell and back. I have some relatives up in Milford who wouldn’t mind putting up with me for a night or two.
This coming weekend, we are embarking on our maiden voyage since rebuilding the front end and replacing the MM. Pentwater, MI here we come. Ain’t never been there… they tell me it’s nice.
At one time I thought I remember seeing a list where one could register their name and number so they could assist a fellow shark lover who may need help while out on the road. I’m guessing you would be one of the mostly likely people to know about this. Ever heard of it?
Oh, by the way… Paul did a bang up job on your steering wheel. I have my name on his list waiting for a core to return.

Wow - that's very nice!!! And the quality looks great on google video.
What equipment did you use? (Camera, software, etc)
I forwarded the link to Amy, so she can monitor her "competition"...

Thanks everyone. Glad you like it.
Mac- Remember my youngest is almost 5, so I have a bit more free time than Chaad!
Nicole - I used my trusty 'ol Canon SD300 (4mp Elph) with a 1gb high speed card. Then I use Microsoft Movie Maker. Pretty simple really. I get a new camera tomorrow, a Canon 700IS which has image stabailzation. So hopfully future movies will be even better.

Andrew I had the SD250 before and it was a nice camera but I couldnt get more than 3 min movies,
I now do have the SD700IS and it has some really nifty features, I have taken upto a 14 min movie, but that takes up the whole card with decent resolution, I would recommend getting the pouch kit as it has a belt holder and a spare battery which is really handy,
the other nice thing is it has colour emphasis, which makes for some nice picture,
I plan on taking a couple of movies on my way home as there is some nice roads from Stewart where I am working, to the lower mainland.

Andrew...what format does your camera record video in: windows media player or Quicktime format? My camera makes Quicktime files and I still haven't found software that will convert it for use with Movie Maker.

Very Good video production. It takes a lot of effort and thought to do that and it gives all of the rest of us a nice perspective of seeing our cars as they are being driven.
I agree with that intelligent guy on the vid about his view of the 928 and my favorite was the grey one. Was that cop car real? Hope you don't get a spasm in your hand muscles shooting your next vid.

Below is a link you should be able to use to download the file. It's about 60MB, so be patient. Link will only last a few days, sorry.
