I rarely see sharks in Maine (at least on land)..there's a black S that bats around Boothbay Harbor, but aside from that, they're scarce.
However yesterday, (Thurs) at 2 pm on I saw a dark metallic gray/charcoal gray S4 w/Cup wheels heading north on I-95 n/b just an exit or two north of New Hampshire. I'm pretty sure that the plates weren't Maine..looked more like Connecticut or possibly NH.

On the shark sighting note, today was the third time that I've seen this red S4 in my general neighborhood. And this is the second time that I've flashed my lights, given the guy a thumbs up and he's just looked ahead w/out acknowledging me. The first time he was on his cell phone and I figured that he just didn't see me. Today there's no way that he didn't see me. He just pretended that he didn't and looked straight ahead. I guess he thinks he's a celebrity or something. He's got the wrong car for that. Somebody needs to take this car from him and let him go get a yellow Hummer or a big S class Mercedes.

I live on a street where exotics are common ( not mine, though!) and a very nice s4 goes by me about 3 times a week, I have been outside with my 928, given him the thumbs up, and never once has he ack'd me. I've even stopped to let him turn onto my street and he ignores any signs, and i have been pulling out of my driveway in front of him.. no response
go figure...

Yea, Neil. What's up with that?!! Those people shouldn't be driving 928's. Maybe they think that driving one puts them in some kind of Tom Cruise/Risky Business league.
Greg, I would have surely noticed your car, and you would have gotten a very enthusiastic thumbs up from me (albeit from a dad chauffeuring his family in a big boring Suburban).
That's a very sharp looking GTS for Maine....or anywhere else on this planet.
