There are many types of silicone on the market and many can have harmful affects on rubber, I have to imagine that the lubricants referenced earlier in this thread are not the harmful type and should be fine.

If I have time later I will try to do a search on which particular silicones should be avoided.

Regarding the squeaking issue I've found Griots Vinyl/Rubber dressing works well and if used every 2 - 3 Months it keeps squeaking either to a minimum or not at all.

Where can I get some of this teflon tape?

Also... Shark Attack... what teflon spray are you using?

I want to give both of these a try.

928 Intl sells the teflon tape for ~$7.50, and I think that's for both sides.
