Didn't find the ****, valves or ...anything in the 928 INTL catalog.
Give them a call though as well as the rest of the Big Three.

Lines must be hard as fluid is pushing piston on other end and could not dot it with soft line walls. Problem is that they are too hard and will eventually snap in two from where they move when headlights are raised and lowered.

My car has that system. It works off of vacuum and silicone fluid, and you have some sort of slave cylinder in your headlights. This system is disconnected as part of "federalization". I looked into making it work again, but I cannot find any sort of diagram as to how it works, and I don't need it anyway. Why do you want to plug the lines? Do you have a vacuum leak?

Actually - I don't believe any vacuum is used, its a quite self-contained system. The lines run in a pair of loops one to each headlight pod where there there is a small hydraulic actuator that tilts the headlight frame at the bottom (NB this is not compatible with US H5 frames). The **** part seems to act like dual mini pump - just moves the fluid (some kind of silicone based fuild if I recall) around the loop one way or the other to raise lower. The lines have to be rigid for the pressure but then over time tend to crack at the bends/joints stress points - including at both ends - but especialy at the actuator end due to the pod up/down movement.

The electric system is quite feasible (but awkward) to retrofit and is expensive - the hydraulic would be very tough to refit or fully R&R. The introduction of the electric system seems to have been an acknowledgement that the hydraulic system was flawwed in long term use.

The fluid system was part # 928 631 220 01 and was a complete system **** with two plungers lines and two adjuster cylinders filled and ready to install as an assembly no service parts were sold.
