Default Option code busters?

I'm looking at a GTS with a couple codes that are confusing.

419 - "Rear luggage instead of seats" The car appears to have stock rear seats.

980 - "Seat cover - Raff - leather" What does Raff mean?

Raffleder is the German word for "gathererd" leather. The official equivalent in the US Porsche terminology was "supple leather". This leather does not have the little "vent holes" your current seats have in the center sections. It's a nice option to have.

I have never heard of a rear seat delete option on a 928. There also were no optional luggage kits - only the Weissach edition came standard witih a luggage kit that was made from ematching leather. Porsche did sell luggage separately through their Selection program, though.

I wonder, if you have some incorrect translation, and this might refer to a luggage cover in leather, or something like that. I'd have to do some digging to find the answer.

Thanks Nicole. I'll dig a little deeper and see if that option 419 might be a different number.

Maybe it's 418, which is side moldings, which it has. At least that would make sense.
