Hi Shane:

I'm not awarea of any differences in side markers between the various flavors of the 928. AFAIK they are all using the same lenses.

Just a quick update:

Casting is done
Saw pictures of first prototype lenses.
They look very promising.

Today my first shipment arrived. The lenses look awesome! I'm sure you will like them!

To those who have put in an order: I will send you an email with payment instructions tonight.

Thanks for making this happen!

Nicole,

Have you considered offering a package price for the front & rear sidemarker lenses? It would be nice...

PET shows rear side marker part numbers are the same for 78-86, and 87-95.

928 631 425 02 - left
928 631 426 02 - right

Have you already put your order in? If not, go to:

and take it from there.

Thanks!

It would be nice, if there was enough margin in this business to do this...

Remember the lenses are hand cast with the highest grade, non-yellowing materials available. They are OEM clear and shiny. I not only have to pay for the quality, but also for shipping to the US. The euro exchange rate is not in my favor these days. I have a store to maintain. I spend time on finding, ordering and listing the items in the store, writing, editing and printing instructions (4 pages in color, in this case), and packing the products nicely. I spend more time promoting them, answering inquires, mailing the products. I have some advertising cost, too, e.g. sponsorships, ebay auctions, etc. The rest of the money is spent on 928 events where I have an opportunity to meet with my customers and friends. I have never made a dime on Hooked On Cars. In fact, it has been a write-off for the past years... It's a favor I do to the community, and my motivation is to meet nice people who share the same passion along the way.

The alternative is to close the store, quit long distance events and sponsorships, and enjoy the 928 quietly.
