Default How much $ to install dash hide

I've recently had the installation of my new console, dash and glovebox hides estimated. The dash, console and glovebox are removed from the car, so no disassembly is necessary. The estimate to remove the old hides, provide minor repair to dash cracks and install new hides (which I will supply) is $550-$650. Does this seem high or is it on the mark?

It really depends on you. If you asked me to do the work, I'd likely charge you that much. If a custom shop did it, it would be the same. A bit high, but it may be worth it to you. Personally I think you can do it as well for yourself. What's your time worth?

Are the console, dash and glovebox already sewn and the estimate is just for the installation?

I thought the dash had to be removed to install the new cover. Anyone?

Gio,

Estimate was just for the installation. I already have the new leather covers and have removed the dash, console and glovebox.

I have no doubt that I can accomplish the dash and glove box, but the console seems to be a bit tricky.

I'll just have to find the time.
