Cooling Fans for Sale and Euro Belt Tensioner
Before I list on eBay, here are cooling fans from my MY 85. First, I have removed the mechanical cooling fan. I re-filled the viscous chamber with the Toyota silicon fluid. Works great, temp even in stop and go traffic on 95 degree days was always just above the first white line. Asking $100, includes fan, bracket and pulley, extra Toyota silicon fluid.
Factory original electric fan. Working, removed to install a flex a lite electric pusher fan. Asking $100.
Flex A Lite #119 Electric Pusher fan. 2500cfm rating, 16: fan. Installed in place of factory electric fan. Made brackets to bolt to original 928 mount locations. Plan was to use this as only cooling fan, but in stop and go traffic, 95 degree days, car ran a little too hot for my comfort, would go just above second white line. As soon as car was moving, temp would come right down. Probably would be good with a puller on the other side, or is a good replacement for the OEM electric fan. Asking $80.00.
Finally, I have the factory Euro Fan Belt Tensioner, Porsche list price $742!!! I felt that I wanted to have a tension adjustment when removing the smog pump. Willing to let it go for $125....

I will have the fan belt tensioner please.
Does that allow you to remove the smog pump and run the fan direct?
Thanks,
Roger

Rog,
It bolts up where the smog pump sould be, uses the same fan belt as if the smog pump is there, with a full range of adjusment. I will send you a PM to get shipping info etc. Thanks, Glen

Glen,
I hope you don't mind me jumping in here. I have a Euro belt tensioner also if someone else needs one. I'll take $125.00 or trade for rear hatch lock mechanism with alarm.
Thanks
