Yes, it's gonna get real interesting soon... (I'm with Murf on this one Remember guys, it isn't just about peak numbers...powerband width is a great thing too!

I hoisted my 5.0 32V stand engine up on the block last night to start the heavy fabrication. My goal is true supercar HP and torque, done on a reasonable budget! After my results with the Triple-T (over 520 ft-lbs crank at just 4,400 RPM!), I am overly excited about the 5.0 build! Stronger, Better, Faster...

I would love to see this stroker car someday...we need a modified 928 meet somewhere mid-country next year. Maybe we could get European Car to do a piece on them? Hired track driver who could take all the cars out and do some laps then have a nice write-up done and published. It would be great and a nice piece to show there is more to Porsche than 911.

I am impressed and that all I need to say.....
Now a question oh great one.... can the penum and intakes be replaced efficiently with a conversion kit ?

It looks like this spring may be the time for all these monsters to come out from under their respective bridges, and have a little battle!

Yes. Easy to replace. Just bolt on. However, without some experience with this individual TB setup on a 5.0/5.4L I wouldn't recommend it because you'll have a torque loss below about 4000 rpm, depending on the air horn length. With longer air horns, maybe a bump in the hood, or cowl intake, it should be good on a 5.0L. That will probably be my next project. Try this on the 5L mouse motor.

Louie...how much torque are you losing with the shorter runners?

Louie, as to the torque loss, maybe that is down to the air horn length? Do you know with the current lengths where your peak power band is? I.E. the theorectiacl peak power band with the tuning fequencies of you intake runners?
