thanks paul. I, as well as everyone else here sincerely appreciate your (and your wifes) work. if it were up to me, I would say your work is worth way more. that steering wheel could be $600 and it would still be a deal; it would just not be a deal I could afford. but, as is... its next on my list. anycase, have a good one all.

Beautiful work. I really don't need any work done on my interior at the moment, but with the quality of this work, I'm tempted to order spares for when the inevitable happens and I DO need the work done. Great job.

Paul,
The wheel is beautifull I have just re-stitched my 3 spoke (79) by hand last week. Now, I am over 50. It took me 3-4 hours and my hands still hurt. It took so long because it took me forever to figure out the pattern and I kept starting over. Your wife deserves a big hug! I am saving to get you to cover my dash. The rest of the interior is just great.

Best of luck

Can you do black with gold thread?

Your work looks a 10+ in my book!

Hey Tim,

sure can. We just completed a silver thread on black.

Certainly possible, but would require a new template. The price would need to be a bit higher, to cover the extra work.

On my old Audi 5000s steering wheel, I actually built up rim thickness with 3 generic leather covers on it.
Ended up using a pair of pliers to pull the lacing tight.
Was a toss up between stitching the cover with wheel on the car or off.
Was harder to work with wheel on the steering column but was easier to get more leverage pulling against the fixed wheel.

It wasn't pretty as the 3rd cover wouldn't stretch over the thicker wheel and left a 1/8" gap.
It's good Paul never saw that mess. But the thicker rim felt good when pushing through the corners.

Any chance we can get some grey green leather this time? I'm debating redying all that pod I got from you along with all the dash stuff I got from Rob. Any advice/help there?

That steering wheel is beautiful, so what's it going to take to get one?

Default We are not worthy!

Hi Paul,

I know you know this but 911 owners will give stupid money for work such as yours. Are you doing anything for them? That way you can offset the great deals you give us cheap, want everything for next to nothing, 928 owners!

Fantastic work and it was a pleasure meeting you both at SITM!

Kind regards,
Constantine

excellent thought, but I wonder... 911 owners would prob swamp him, and then in order to stay in demand, he would have to be as reliable for them as he is for us... how much time would that leave him for our beloved 928's?

As soon as I can do it safely (i.e., without serious risk of divorce -- especially since the 928 is registered in my wife's name), I've got to get some of Paul's goods. The only problem (and my interior is nice) is that I am not sure where to stop -- first i though pod and dash -- and then console -- then the A pillars -- then the cassette box and rear box and now the steering wheel.

All I can say is wow!

Hi Paul...
I can't get the airbag cover off - rather, I don't want to pry it off as I'm afraind I might "F" it up. So I'm sending you the whole thing. I'll throw in an extra $10 to cover the additional shipping. Just wanted to give you a heads up.
