Damn, all I can say is that is some quality work. Great attention to detail, good job my friend, I wish I had the $$$ to get one.

I was thinking it was a good deal with that horn pad cover.

AGLA sells the cut leather kit for $70 and will do the whole job for $170. I've done the 4-spoke wheel on my 944 and it looks good but was 8 hours of work, and I mean work. I'd like to avoid doing it again.

$185 for the whole job sounds like a good deal without selling yourself short.

Looks like another thing on the "Porsche Repairs Winter 2007" list.

It's easy, but scary as hell!

1. Disconnect the battery for 20min.
2. Remove the 2 screws at 3 & 9 o'clock on the back side of the wheel (torx).
3. Gently pull the airbag out, note the polarity of the wires and pull the connector. STORE AIRBAG - BAG SIDE UP!
4. Remove retaining nut.
5. Mark wheel and shaft relationship to ensure proper alignment upon re-installation.

Don't know how to remove the cover off the airbag, but that should be pretty easy... I hope.

I appreciate your insight Jim. The fact is that I started this to help this group keep these cars prime. It is a myth that quality work as to be expensive. As long as I can manage a schedule, I will try to keep the prices as low as I can.
But my schedule is already pretty full and since I do everything in house myself, time is money. Not too long from now, I will need to increase the prices.

Let me know where to send it.
Hey Andrew,

ship the wheel to:

Paul Champagne
14721 Whitecap Blvd. Suite 113
Corpus Christi, TX 78418
USA

Your total including shipping back to you will be $210.00 ($185 + $25)

And don't worry about the price, I'll be OK

Thanks for the order

Paul

Paul,

Wow, you never cease to amaze me with every new item you develop. Excellent work and end result. I'm still torn on the color stitching I want to use but I will need to make up my mind soon!

Ain't that the truth! While I was able to take mine off without issue, you feel like you're dismantling a bomb... because that's exactly what you're doing!

Did I miss an expected turn around time? Wondering how long my baby would be wheel less?

easy guys, easy. I wasn't trying to be insulting. I swear. I am just one dude, with 2 25 year old super cars, working on one dudes soldier budget, trying to keep said supercars mint. I take any help I can get. 5 or ten bucks here and there adds up in the big picture when sometimes you have to choose to have gas money or food money. and with cars like these, there have been times when gas money wins out, and grilled cheese's become the cuisine for a week or so.

and yeah, I know... I am living a bit beyond my means. but enjoying every second of it.

Hey Perry,

turn around will depend on the work load at the time we get the wheel in, but a week sounds about right.

Don't worry about it Tim, there was nothing insulting in your question. You can't know if you don't ask
