Replacement Intake Tubes

As promised, here's a pic of the DR replacement tubes. They're wire reinforced, and I simply snipped a coule of the wires to make it fit over the cam gear breaters
Andrew et al - if you have wire reinforced tubes and need to snip a wire or 2 for the cam belt cover ports you can still dress this up a little with a plastic part available at your local ACE hardware or similar. "Nylon Snap Bushings" is what they are called - they have a flange that covers your cut/punched hole and you can drill small holes next to this flange to feed your cut wires through to keep everything snug and the wires from peeling through the cover or snagging anything. Best of all if you get the right size (15/16" or 1" sizes if I recall correctly) they will snap fit over the cam belt cover intakes - perfect!
Also if you can find GTS hose ends they dress up the look quite a bit.

I think that hose that Andrew put on his car is the same stuff that RyanP is using. Ryan offered that at something like $35 a set. He had to buy a roll of it and is reducng his storage costs by sharing the excess. bargain for anyone, nut especially if you are close enough the Los Angeles area to pick them up. San Diego listers, if you are interested I can bring a set for you from Ryan to next weekend's showdown in Carlsbad.
