Hey guys...

Fellow p-car nut here (2006 997S Cab Atlas Grey). We were up in Mass to pick up our daughter at sleep away camp in Palmer, Mass and I saw some of you guys getting off the Mass Pike at the toll booth on Sunday. My wife says "look at all of those Porsches - - I guess its one of those drive things like you attended in Baltimore". It sure was. I tried to wave but my Jeep rent-a-car just sort of blended into the traffic.

It was funny because she says "they all have 928's" and I said "wow - honey - I created a monster!!! How did you know those are 928's??? She says "it says on the rear of that red car "Porsche 928". I laughed!

Sure looked like fun. Just a quick post to let you know I noticed you.

Hi Adam,

Thanks for noticing. Always nice to have a 928 friendly Porsche owner on the road

Belated wave back, Adam (I wasn't in the red one but I think I was in that group). Glad you made it home (presumably) safe, thanks for saying hi!

I am sure you did Stan, my schedule is sooooooo crazy this time of year, There is not a lot of time for extracurricular events between May and November, when one is responsible for the operation of a farm......Some day I will get my schedule under a bit more control. I will look for the Lloyd event.

I hope the Sharks in Hell event (Fresh Water Frenzy) is half as good. Looks like you guys did a great job pulling it together.

Hey, I caravaned to this event with crazy Carl, my twin brother Bill, Rick, Shane, and Vince. Minding our own business, going the speed limit.(right!!) O.k. under 85 MPH, and this idiot in a yellow Nissan SUV passes us going about 95 MPH. He was weaving in and out of traffic, and you guessed it, saved us from a State trooper, a mile down the road. The show was great. I have never seen so many true sports cars, all together in a row, until yesterday. Thanks so much to those who hosted this gathering.

Also: Tom Baxter brought a cool video of a motorweek type show testing a '90 GT and explaining the differences to an S4 (from '90).
Wish we had a drive lined up for the afternoon, or a drive before we met at Tassinari's. Not enough driving fun. Maybe David Lloyd can rent a track for us all at some point in New England. Route 8 in CT is referred to as "the Eightobahn" and I can attest to it's triple digit cruise-ability...
We need a NE drive-all-day 928 event that does some twisty fun roads only broken up by gas and food...

We were just cruising with the flow whatever speed it was, I think we were well-behaved ...and that guy was driving that rollover fodder that way with kids in the back seat, too.

It was a lot of fun in wilbraham. Our hosts have a wonderful place and the 928 community is a fun bunch to hang with. Nothing is cooler than a 928 rumbling by, what a tremendous sight it was seeing all of them on the lawn.

I would like to have copies made on dvd, but have no way of doing it.

It was definitely worth the drive. DL kinda snookered me into doing all the wrenching and quite a bit of the talking, but he's always done most of both prior so he deserved to be able to mingle this time
