TB/WP/Tensioner/MM/Real Gasket/TT Party in Double Oak
I am planning to start work on my 87 S4 this coming weekend (July 29th & 30th). Starting on the Saturday afternoon and getting to the meaty stuff on Sunday.
Also looking at some TT issues with Mike Vanc's car.
Anyone who wants to stop by and help, watch, learn, BS & BS, drink beer, get away from the SO, is very welcome.
I have A/C and a beer fridge, so the important issues are covered.

Rog,
You already know I'm in. Car is still running great. If we don't get any takers, whe can hold off on the MM and Real gasket this weekend. I really need to get this torque tube in first so I can just enjoy driving it for a while.

Ooooowwwww, I would LOVE to come out and help(drink beer), but if I'm out of the hosp in time, I have to go to the peoples republik of Kalifornia. Don't think I'll make this one. Maybe Sunday afternoon, if at all.
BTW, Rog, you have THREE '87 models lists, so you should be more descriptive.

Damn, I am headed to MSR this weekend and will miss out. My plan is to replace the front rotors on the track car on Saturday and drive a few run sessions on Sunday. It's my first time assembling floating rotors (using existing aluminum hats with new slotted rotors) so hopefully I won't run into issues.
It would have been a good opportunity to hit you up for an alignment. I'll catch the next one.

I swung by on Friday morning to see if you had the garage opened up and working, but I missed ya. (took off work early) Just let us know what time to show up and what you need us to bring.

I think it would be better for people to come on Sunday.
I will start on Saturday afternoon at some time, however I'm in Farmington NM and will not leave until about 3:00pm tomorrow (Friday).
Unless I drive through the night I will not be back untl lunch time on Saturday.
Give me a call on Saturday on my cell and you can find out where I am.
