Default Seat drive cables needed .... 'SSS'

I'm suffering 'SSS' - stuck seat syndrome .. and I need cables to cure it.

The fore/aft power drive on the drivers seat of my C4S gave up the ghost .... due to frayed ends on the drive cables: these square drive beauties have good genes - they are a 928 part (928 521 252 04)

Does anyone have an old seat that could sacrifice its two cables: the sheath detaches at the front center on the motor output drives, and the flex units pull out easily. They are ~ 10.5" long, and should look like the item on the left.
If so, PM me your price .... and I'll be able to move the seat up for shorter drivers .

BTW, the 928 has a nice allan drive socket on the motor to manually drive the seat if stuck - no such luxury on you know what ...

Garth,
You've probably figured this out already, but in a pinch you can mount the bad end in a power drill and move the seat with the drill.

Hey you new NH guy,

Yes, I'll use the destroyed ones with the good end inserted to free the seat ...with a drill; however, I hope to reassemble with fresh cables to make it work as intended. The unraveled ends will not insert into the female drive sockets, and I've tried everything short of welding them up and grinding a new square end .... hey, that may actually work - but I'm not that desperate yet ...
