Default Pictures of the one that got away

Pictures of my ex 1984S Auto. This is the car that got me hooked for life. I bought this car from my dad for $5k back in 2001. It was a steal. He just didn't drive it very much, and he knew that I would. I found myself in some financial trouble a couple years later and was forced to sell it. This car was mechanically perfect. All original (even the paint) and un-molested. I sold it to a guy in Austin. He was from Australia, and I think the car might be over there now. I think it's ironic that the liscence plate had "87S" at the end of it, and I now own an 87 S4.

To give you an idea of how un-eventful my stay was with this car, I think I only replaced like four or five small items during my entire time with the car. Freezestat for A/C, front splash sheild in passenger wheel well, Trans service kit, and hood struts. Jim can back me up on this, cause I ordered the few things I did need straight from him. A far cry from what I bit off and am chewing on right now. But when I'm finished, my 87 will be just as mechanically sound as my first. I sure wish I could have that one back though.
