Removing windshield wiper motor
Please don't tell me that I have to take off the hood to get out the wiper assembly. I'm just trying to replace the wiper motor but one of the screws is stripped and I have no access to another screw. In the WSM, it shows the removal sans hood. I can't seem to get enough clearance with it on.
The good news is, I was at least able to reassemble. The wiper assembly didn't want to go back in either.
So anyway, as the entire weekend turned out, if its worth doing, its worth doing twice.
Thanks,

Remove the right and left windshield trim carefully. That exposes the two philips screws that hold down the cowl. Remove the cowl. You should have unobstructed access to the motor. No need to remove hood.
