prolly your sunroof switch. the connections are perhaps corroded, try pushing real hard and moving from side to side to get a differnet 'angle' with it.
or try this: http://members.rennlist.com/v1uhoh/windowSW.htm

I have to second pushing harder on the switch. I have to do that to get my windows to open. Also make sure everything is lubed really well. I hardly ever use the sunroof since not that much air comes in through it.

New switch about $65. Be gentle prying out the old one and replacing the new. Pull the passenger side carpeted console side panel to get access to the switch. The connector is bright yellow or green, I forget.

Before you change the motor, you might consideraccessing the switch connector behind the carpeted console panel on the passenger side. Jumper the connections to open or close the sunroof. If the motor still runs slow, at least you know it's not just the switch. I hate to see you change the motor first just to find the switch is better but not 100%.

The same motor that opens it close it, does it open faster than close?
The sun roof motor draws a couple of amps, a bad switch would not make it open or close slow unless it had a major corrosion build up.
Clean out all the crud in the sun roof tracks, make sure the runners it moves on are clean and polished. If its still slow, pull the motor, dismantle it and clean teh armature and brushes, lube the bearings, and it may move a little faster!

Its always easier to pull than push!
Do you have the hand crank for the sunroof?
If so , wind it by hand, do you feel more resistance closing than opening?
Don't waste your money on a new motor, its probably the control cables that are all gunged up!
