Default AC Question

My AC has run good and cold for over a year. I went away on a one week trip, left the carin the garage for the week. When I returned and went to take the shark for a drive, the AC no longer runs cold. I'm wondering if it just needs a re-charge or if something more ominous is at hand. Any thoughts appreciated.

It could be that a slow leak finally yields pressure low enough that the low pressure switch no longer closes. It could be that a large leak occured while you were away.

An inspection by a qualified A/C tech will answer your question.

Mine recently had the same problem. It happened overnight. I gave it a recharge and it's ice cold. Now I just have to order all of those O-rings and have it evacuated this winter so I can replace them all.
