Default Mohawk A-7 lift?

The quest for a suitable two-post lift continues. I'm looking for a two-poster that will lift the car from the lift points. Have any of you put a 928 on a Mohawk A-7 asymmetrical 2-post lift? From my calculations it appears that, with all arms at their minimum length, the arms will just contact the four lift points. I'd like confirmation before I buy.

Thanks.

Mohawk makes some good stuff.
I cant help you with if it will fit or not, but if you are looking for a good lift I have had very good luck with the Wheeltronics (Snap-on) lifts.

I had a other brand name lift installed and took it out and got another Wheeltronic. Which involved a lot of work, but it was worth it.

I have 2 different models and my 928 will go on either of them.

If you want some more info on them just let me know.

Is this Mohawk a hydraulically equalized lift?

The Mohawk is hydraulically equalized.

It's also 127" wide overall, which is good for my shop.

You might investigate the Challenger line - specifically the Challenger Quality lift. I just installed one in the detached "hobby" garage that I had built over the winter. It fits the car well. It has US manufactured lifting (hydraulic etc.) products and Korean steel components. It is mounted with the two posts "square", but the arms themselves are assymetric (fronts shorter with three beams and the rears longer with two). Works like a charm.
