Tim,
You are a wiked man Since your post, I have been having fantasies about buying it and driving it back to NC. Man, what a trip that would be. Unfortunately, work is overrated but someone has to do it. Good luck with the sale, It is a beautifull car

Cheers,

Starts in 1st if selector is in 2nd, or if kick down is activated.

Somebody buy my black on black '94 968 (better than excellent shape, 73k miles) so I can dirvert the money to this black 928. How about a custom .22-250 on a Krico action, double set triggers? 1/4" groups? What about a custom barreled M70 stainless in Win .375 Rem. Ultra Mag? How about my rock collection? Can't sell my kids since they got married and their husbands would object. Can't sell the house since it has the needed garage (that I would live in if I bought this car w/o freeing up a space). This car makes me salivate. Temptation..I can overome ANYTHING but temptation...

Any '88 S4 would seal the deal!

Actually, I bought the 968 with money made from selling rocks...pre-historic stone artifacts.

Anyone out there that hasn't been bribed by Tim, your comments regarding the car are appreciated...I am trying to make a decision to buy this car.

(Tim, I am just asking for the final push on this from your fellow Shark friends).

I have not been bribed, but I believe Tim is a very trustworthy person. Have done business with him many times, and it was always smooth and a pleasure.

I haven't been on the 'bribed' list. I've known Tim since before he bought the car, and have more than a casual familiarity with it. Tim's attitude about making and keeping the car in perfect condition reflects mine, so we get along fine.

Tim's first visit was on one of those very rare threat-of-drizzle days in Los Angeles. He was in the process of buying the car, and wanted to see what he was getting into. He was driving the Tahoe, which was immaculate. We decided that the potential for rain made it impractical to go do a familiarization drive in my car. He subsequently made the purchase arrangements, then waited extra weeks so that all the less-than-perfect mechanical stuff could be made perfect. That's three check-marks in the "plus" column, and the car hasn't even arrived yet.

The car was made mechanically sound at purchase to an extent known by few. Nothing has been spared in the care of the car since purchase. If I needed to replace my car, Tim's would be right at the top of the list.

Tim is also one of the earliest SoCal928 members. His SoCal member profile shows him to be 6 out of over 400. Lots of enthusiasm for the car and the group. We were kind of sorry to see him head off to see the world, but we also understood the need to move and grow his business.

In a nutshell-- You won't be at all disappointed in the car. The pictures don't do it justice. It's safe to say that nobody on your block has a 928 near as nice as this one. Fly to Seattle, pick it up, and have a tour of the country on your way home with no worries. Or have it transported and miss out on a world-class driving experience.

Hey, thanks Nicole and Dr. Bob for the kind words. Did you ahmmm...get my check

If Sharkey sells anytime soon, don't anyone here think I'm selling out for good...just taking a break until the business gets on solid grounds and I can free up some time out of Alaska to enjoy a shark Besides, Nicole made most her money off of me while I was waiting for Sharkey to get on his feet
