There was a long thread about these wheels some time ago. Did anyone get them? I might get a set for the "temporarily" dead 90 if they fit and are of good quality.

Rod,

I have a set of those for my car, but have not yet put them on. The previous owner of my '90 had a set of Pirellis put on the TechArt wheels about a month ago, so I may leave them on for a while.

The price on those was very good, much less than the set that I purchased. They originally were offered on the 996 Turbo. I bought mine after I saw how great the set looked on Tony's Silver car, only his were 11's in the back. They look great.

Have you checked clearances yet? That's what I'm interested in. I want to make absolutely those exact wheels will fit/clear before I invest.

Didn't the guy say the front offset was really 50mm not 60mm like they advertised?

Me too, but I have same reservations. Where's "Mikey" when you need him?

Maybe someone has the link to the long thread about these that someone mentioned... you and I could slueth and find out final judgement on our own. I still would like to hear from someone with personal experiance, or one of the 928 "godfathers" on this.

Tony has them on his car, the only difference is that he has the 11's in the back instead of the 10's.

The same wheels from this supplier or the same "style" wheels?

If anyone's interested I have a set of genuine porsche Turbo II hollowspoke wheels and tires for sale. These look like what Tony has except they're hollowspoke and Tony's aren't. Darien has the hollowspokes on his car. Same offsets, 8" front, ET50 and 11" rears, ET45. Rear fenders need to be pulled and rolled a bit and the front bearing cap covers need trimming. Tires are Pirelli Pzero in 225/40 front and 295/30 rear. Lots of meat on the tires, fronts weigh 41# and rears 51# which is very light for this size tire/wheel. $1275 plus shipping.
