Default Free 928 parts

Yep thats right free.

I am closing my shop and all the big stuff has to go or it goes in the dumpster.

All early parts

I have 2 sets of beat up front and rear bumper covers, 2 sets of front euro fenders, 2 steering racks, a set of rear hubs, set of axles, 2 sets of inside rear quarters, 3 of those are fiberglass, 2 torque tubes, 2 complete doors, 2 stripped doors, windsheild, 2 sets of old rear seats etc etc. and a lot of other misc parts. I also think I have some door seals somewhere.

Here is the catch. They have to be gone by Weds and you have to take everything.

I will not pack or ship them.

If you are local to south florida come and get them. Monday or Weds would be best.

If you are not you will have to call for a pickup and have a shipping company pack everything.

Hi Tammons,

I PMed you. Having lived in Margate for 15 years, I can call some friends or a moving company to box everything and take it to UPS tomorrow (Monday). Please let me know if this is acceptable.

Is the windshield currently boxed in any way? All I really need is a set of front fenders and a steering rack, but I will be glad to have more hauled away if that is helpful. I just bought my S4 and may need a bunch of those "misc" parts.

Thank you,

Chris Laughary

I just got off the phone with Tammons. Please PM or call me if there are parts you need from this lot. It will help him out to have one truck pickup as much as possible, so I am working on arranging that.

It is all sight-unseen for me at this point, and it sounds like all of the parts are used, not rebuilt. I hope I don't spend more on shipping than they are worth, but may not really know the visible condition of the parts until they get here (near Washington, DC).

Right now I'm searching for a moving company to pick everything up as soon as possible. None of my old friends in South Florida seem interested in taking time off work to hande used auto parts. (imagine that)

Any help will be appreciated. The windshields ended up being broken and will be dumped.

Here is what I have heard about the parts list so far.

2 sets of front Euro fenders -- only one fender is perfect - the others need patches or repair
2 sets of beat up front and rear bumper covers
2 steering racks -- both used, and one confirmed as leaky
a set of rear hubs
set of axles ? - the units "that get bent if hit on a rear wheel"
2 sets of inside rear quarters -- 3 are fiberglass
2 torque tubes -- used
2 complete doors -- but may be missing window motors
2 stripped doors
2 sets of old rear seats
"other misc parts."?

Add to that.......

All early

2 rear main cross members, the big alum member.
1 early battery box
2 sets of rear suspension arms, left and right
2 steering trees
1 steering link
1 set of ex manifolds
1 AC, heater core.
1 set of shocks and spgs. Rear I think.

4 front trim parts. The steel part that is at the base of the windsheild the wipers go through.
a few other misc parts, headlight cross bar, several sway bars
engine compartment cross brace

I am sure I have missed more odd and ends.

Chris/Tammons, I'd like to see them before commiting, but I'm interested in a set of Euro fenders and the engine compartment crossbrace (if it's straight). I may also be interested in a front bumper cover, and steering rack.

That will be up to Chris if he has it picked up.

2 of the Euro fenders have never been touched, two have aftermarket turn sig drilled in them.

Both are in good shape but need paint. The first unmolested set has a couple of dings, but nothing a good body guy could not knock out of alum.
