928 Gathering in Wilbraham MA

Day/Date: Sunday, July 23, 2006
Time: 10AM - 6 PM
Place: Dave & Flo Tassinari's
Wilbraham, MA
Agenda:
10AM - 11AM...arrival and parking by model year in Tass' corral
11AM - Noon...socialize, drool on cars, war stories, etc.
Noon - 1PM...eat and socialize
1PM - ?... 1. Tass will discuss and perhaps even demonstrate the fine art of coupe-to-cab conversion
2. 928 maintenance project...anyone want to volunteer
their car for a brake job, T-belt tension, etc.?
Costs:
Food/drink contribution...$10 each, kids free
T-shirt, event-specific...OC members receive at N/C
...non-OC members may purchase at
$15, or receive at N/C if joining at the event
RSVP to me ASAP so we can get the T-shirts in time. Tell me how many and
what size shirt.

See you all there. I look forward to my first 928 gathering. I'll be in the low budget black 85....Rick, I spoke with Carl and I will meet up with you guys somewhere on MassPike west. I live outside of Worcester.

Tass' garage is BIG. Plenty of room for all people and a number of Sharks.

We can move everything inside the barn if we get shower or two. Parking is in the mowed grassy-field so all will be clean, no muddy stuff. We can also get 3 or 4 cars inside for liftwork, service demo etc.
I think we will have great time even if we get some rain. If a day switch is preferred, I could also do Saturday....?

Both Saturday and Sunday show isolated thunderstorms. So Sunday looks best as its cooler and its still a ways away to know for sure. I just don't drive mine in the rain, but don't expect anyone else to think the same. But a t-storm would put a crimp in an outdoor activity.
Weather aside, if I am there, Dave do you have a vhs player hooked to a widescreen with stereo. LOL. I have a great vhs tape that most would like to see and I would like to share.
