HA! As I recall, I was about to be surrounded in someone elses Ebrake dust at about that time!!

I know I can whip most GT's and GTS's, but you made that a little too easy!!

Another classic SITM moment!!

But if you ask any of the SITM Gods, it is no problem in my experience or theirs with this model!! Dont worry though, its just an OB!!

Abby - Yes it does have a sunroof. Im not sure why so many people like them without the sunroof? My only guess is because it is more of a rare collectors type things, but I love mine, it is one of the few sunroofs Ive ever had that my eyes dont get blinded by the sun all the time!? Love it. Although when I first bought it I really had to clean and grease it, the cables were pretty worn.

No worry's here. I was just trying to figure out where you would beat me- 0-62 I would almost be 1/2 sec faster, 1/4 mile I would be 1 sec faster and at the top end I would have another 20 mph to go after you maxed out at 155.
I agree with Abby, nice Euro. I think he wonders about the sunroof for the added headroom.
FWIW I would like to find a nice, blue, 86 Euro.

From what some people who own both have said: a GT and an S2 drive the same except the S2 has more low end, and you can redline an S2 in 5th gear which is the exact same speed as a GT. Porsche's spec speeds and weights are completely unrealistic.

BTW, that picture was taken from a 90GT.

HA HA! Cheeers on that! I love those newer models too!

btw, I have the G028 /07 rear end!! Those figures wouldnt be a problem!!! Of course, for some insane reason when Porsche Racing of America imported this car and paid extra to remove all but 2 options, they DIDNT order it with LSD ! But shhhh. That is going to change as soon as ScottM has a space in his tank!! Of course, he has "another issue" to deal with right now.

Euro S2s...or at least 83s, rely heavily on aggressive cams for part of the performance increase. As a result, low end torque isn't optimum, the power curve gets steep at 3000 and up.

83s are not S2s. S2s are 84-86.
