Not exactly, when most people here say "euro", they are referring to the Bosch LH injected 84-86 16 V model. It has many things that make it somewhat special. It has higher tq by some 35 or so then the regular euro S. There is just something about it, sum of the parts thing, where the engine characteristics and the tranny's just make it go.

You will have 2 very nice sharks when you are done but personally i would rather have 1 very nice LH euro. Especially an 86 euro. For me, an LH euro is the epitome of 928 ownership. The sound of the engine is unique and the power increases until it shifts down. An LSD finishes it off just right. Take it from beerfish, they rock!

TV - I bought mine with the 993T brake upgrade. I need to put new rotors on soon, they are close, even though I barely had to touch them at SITM (was following a GTS by the way ) They were aparently one of DR's first kits he sold back in 98 or so? That info was from the PPO.

Abby, those two sharks look awesome. I would love to have a photo of mine in the middle... ooooo, kinky!! All those two need are the Bilstein/Eibach upgrade and a set of drop links to take some of that light out of the photo!!

Len928 and others - Lets focus on normally aspirated (sp?) cars here. Leave the Funny drag (or is it drag funny) cars out of the equation. I have no doubt that even a lightly SC'd car would whoop my bumper!! BUT! Put that accord back in, Im onit!! HA!

Oh, TV. Im still working on some of those additional photos you requested. Im just not the photoesqe kinda guy!? My avatar is about as genious as I can come up with.... someone said that photo looked like it was black and white? That is was amazing? UH, its not and its color?

Thanks for all the nice comments. By the way, after reading that thread about the guy who bought the hunk o 928 for 5K, and now hates 298's... I paid 8K for mine!! HA HA HA!! YES!!

true true... but I was speaking more toward the aestetic qualities of the car... especially since I will also be doing the clear turn sig and marker lights... plus, simular rims... those are nice. so, my car should be nearly identical on the outside, no? except, looking at the pictures again, I have no rub strips.

as far as vroom goes... I started with my 81 auto... US... nice car, lots of fun... have done alot of work to the suspension and brakes, and oneday will give her some forced air, but for now, drivetrain is stock... the euro I am picking up is an 82 S, with a 5 spd, and LSD... a bit of a preformance boost. I llok forward to it.

oh, and btw, I am thinking I will personally organize a mid to late fall NE shark run... I will be home by then, and the white mountains during foliage is a nice drive... a little cool, but the sharks like the weather.

one last thing... not to hijack, but I only have the deposit down on the 82... havent made the purchase yet. when the car is inspected by my uncle back home, it will be finalized... does anyone think I am counting my eggs? the car is from a fellow lister after all... I really have high hopes on it!

greetings from the desert!

Len;

I just dropped over $450 to do a inner CV joint (came all the way from Japan ) on my 91 NSX. Aren't you afraid of twisting the transaxle, axle shafts, R/P, etc. to shreds with that kind of boost? Lucky only the 91's had the snap ring issues.

That is exactly what happens.. I now run below 15lbs..
It ripped the teeth off the Final drive.. Put them through the tran's case... I don't plan on doing it again...
