94 GTS For Sale Twinscrewed asking 44K
#48
Howdy all,
Just one more thing before I list it on Autotrader. Some of you expressed some interest but no PM's came my way... if it is a matter of few thousand let me know 44K is asking their is some wiggle room for me... I was actually expecting some offers for less than 44k but none yet.
Thanks all

thats a great pic of the car, i like it from that front 3/4 angle.
I have got to get those GTS mirrors, they perfectly match the front dindsheild rake, they look like part of the original design, instead of the flag mirrors my car has.
Very nice

Sorry for bringing this back up to the top... several people were interested in this car from several advertisements I placed. I told them this is a good place to go to see more pictures of the car.

Chris,
Someone recently contacted me about your car and asked me what I knew about it, which isn't much.
You need to get a dyno-jet dyno sheet with AFR to demonstrate the car is operating properly. It would be great if you could show boost levels on the same sheet. I've seen lots of pictures of the outside and interior but nothing from under the hood. Do you have any from under the hood?
If the car still has tuning issues I would suggest putting it back to stock and selling the sc system separate from the car.... just a suggestion. Most people won't want to take on a project unless it's a REALLY good deal. Hope you don't mind my 928cents.

fwiw, when I saw the car it was running quite well, and looked quite nice too.. but I do think most folks would rather have a stock GTS, as it's a collector item, and when you customize stuff it usually only appeals to a small % of the population/market... also in CA, if the car isn't CARB certified 100%, many won't touch it. the smog ***** are not to be messed with out here, imho.
so I'd guess if it was an out of state sale or he pulled off the blower and returned it to stock, sold the blower as an optional extra he'd get more overall w/less hassle. just my opinion though, I could be wrong - of course.

And some of you say that I price my cars high? Well, in all fairness to Chris, I certainly won't say whatt I sold the car to him for, but let's just put it this way, it was considerably lsee than what he's asking for it a year later.
But, somehow, I'm always the bad guy? Chris got a great deal, if you ask me, or ask him for that matter!

Tim,
The car has been running just fine at 6.5 PSI. As the post said no det issues and in fact seems to be running better than stock. No tuning issues... just always room for improvement.
I didn't really take an shots from under the hood... looks about lime every other twinscrew set up thus far with intake on top not through the side.
Todd,
Yes the car you sold me was a good deal... I hope your business deal worked out for you. However, I can assure this car is now twice the car you sold me .
The car is currently smogged in CA with the S/C... YMMV

Oh, I know it's worth a hell of alot more now than it was then. For one, it's a FREAKIN' TWIN SCREW! Congrats! I'm sure it runs like a $#@%! What I would give for just one more ride in it now. I'm sure I wouldn't even recognize it, at least power wise anyway. Chris, you did a great job on everything. It still looks stock, oh, but what's hidden underneath is what makes it a real surprise, right?
It definitely went to an enthusiast. That's for sure.
I also noticed you never asked for a refund, either.............................
P.S. I currentely just purchased a '93 Zermatt silver GTS with light grey carpets and seats, with a classic grey dash, door handles, and some other miscellaneous items. But, this one's loaded up with extra leather goodies. X, Y, and Z codes everywhere. Very rare, indeed. Oh, and ironically it's for sale, too!
Anyone?

Chris,
For the asking price, get the interior detailed and have the carpets cleaned. The higher offers will outweigh the small $ to have it done.
Good luck
