Well after running my car i got it home turned it off put it in park (its a 1984 4spd) i came back to the car a few minuts later i backed out put it in drive and nothing. i parked it messed with it and gave up. i let it sit for a little bit and it cooled down and it drove again. i whanna know WTF??? any ideas? thx

on my 3 speed there is a cable that moves it into gear, check the driver side of the tranny about that, i have seen other threads where people have stretched out those cables and what not

 

but wie wold it sudenly start working?
