I'm looking for a hood with either scoops, ducts, or a cowl. does anyone know of something available or do I have to fab one?
Thanks

I am not looking for a weight benifit. I'm looking for a different look. I've seen strosek hoods with NACA type ducts in the hood but where do you get them?

Mark Anderson at 928 Intl still has one carbon fiber hood left in stock, last I heard.
The fellas that made it and the carbon fiber dash seem to be out of business. But he has one hood left.

No one's referring the guy to Jacquemond?
Its a French specialty shop. Sells a number of 928 kits and components a few different styles of hoods, IIRC. I can't speak to fitment and quality.
I think I recall someone taking on a U.S. distributorship, otherwise find a friend in the military to help defray shipping costs.
Or, as others said go custom or 928Intl. However, I'm fairly confident that the latter was built for lightness rather than style.
Otherwise you could try to talk a small fabricator like Cianci into it (they did a number of good CF hoods for 3000GT, which had similarly low production numbers)

Custom Hood by Vescio...
I had this custom hood made based upon a Camaro Add-On then sculpted to match the Porsche lines and look less Chevy-like. The Lexan clear top added quite a bit... Paid about $2500 complete, would have been a fraction of the price if I did not have it see-through....

Those hoods are a little bulky. I need one with a little style, like I said maybe NACA ducts or a small scoop or 2 not a bike ramp on my hood. And it's not a race car so I know there are no benifits.
I'll look into 928 Intl.
Thanks
