Ernest, I'll bite, but I don't think this is what you are looking for, but there are several non-original items: wheels, steering wheel, GPS(?) unit in dash, that technically take away from what is supposed to be a commemorative edition.

In 1982, this particular series Porsche did come with a DVD-NAV system, unfortunately there were no DVD's and GPS's to power the system, and in 1982 it had a 0.0008 Megabyte 5 1/4" Floppy which could hold 1/2 second of a full length motion picture, or your house lot and corner street on the GPS. Porsche also offered the Sparco steering wheel as an option, as well as Mille Migla knock-offs for the wheels as the original Porsche wheels were deemed too strong.

I'm still trying to figure out how the certificate could say it's #197 of 205 and #217 as well. Is it possible that more than 205 were made? Maybe Nicole can enlighten us.

There were other 928s built that year. The question is did they pretty much make all of the Weissach editions at the same time or not? If they had made 20 non-weissaches before this one was built, the higher number may be the overall production run for 928s for that year to date and the lower number the total number of weisaches in the model year???
Could also be a typo? They used typewriters back then, eh? Not sure how religiously the numbers are assigned to vehicles.

This is from the seller:
The original wheels with tires are shrink wrapped and stored in a closet in my house. The original steering wheel in stored also. I do not have the luggage. The parts that were removed for the DVD are stored as well. If you read the Porche Certificate closely you will see that it states the numbers as I have stated them. I too believe it is a little confusing. If you look at the picture of the dash emblem you will see that at the bottom it also says 217.
