As you and Mark have done this..what is your opinion of the 100hp limit on single nozzle ??

Would you have gone above 100 on single or do you think that direct port (8 nozzles) is the way to go for 150 or a 200 shot ???

All the best Brett
I chickened out, but based on what some of these boostards are putting out, I think 100HP is safe and even up to 150. Key is making sure you don't run lean.

Someone needs to put together a kit with everything you need.

Hi

Lots of companies do a kit....but for 928s its not quite that easy lol..mind you nothing is

As an example...the machined ally nozzle holder I had built....will only fit 16 valve engines as it replaces the AAV plate which 32 valve doesnt have ..I dont think

The only person who could build a COMPLETE kit is someone who has already done it...and even then...it has to be for same model...

So few do it....I got lots of advice from Andrew and Mark ..ty ty ty ty and I would willingly help any others that want to try it...but I "THINK" that I am the ONLY UK 928 on Nitrous....

Feeling lonely now lol..but when I go to 100hp jetting OVER standard....I "should" have more power than a GTS....feels better now

All the best Brett

I've never heard anything about people having a 100hp limit on single nozzles until I came to this site. There are guys running upwards of 200+hp shots with single nozzles. The are usually dual staged instead of one big burst, but I have always thought that direct port was more for cylinder tuning than anything else. JMO

its like carburation vs fuel injected. if a carb was able to atomize and dispurse fuel to 8 cyl as efficiently they may not have changed. so you are shooting over 100hp worth of fuel and nitrous before a throttle body and hope it dispurses properly. im not saying it doesn't work, just better to get it done right.
You want to use the lowest setting that works the most efficiently. What Brett needs to do before he starts going up in jet setting is spend more money on making the kit right. He needs minimum a bottle heater and a purge valve. you are nto getting all you have out of system without atleast these items. he should get a blow down tube and some other of the stage 2 options.

Its true what he says.
First use what you have got, use the purge to consistantly have the correct mix. Use the bottle heater to consistantly get the correct presure and most importantly, keep checking your plugs for even distribution of the spray. I would also go onto the 7es plugs to use first and see if the bloody thing starts in a winters morning before going to 125 or above. Its no good an extra 25hp if your car hates starting.
Just a thought.

NOS used to list a kit for 928s. Their catalog also listed popularity- 928 kit didn't have great standings. I think the company was overtaken by a larger conglomerate, may have dumped some of its niche applications for standardization. I wonder if ZEX has anything...

Default 928 Nitrous

Found the old NOS part number:

Fuel Injection Nitrous Systems

NOS systems specifically designed for the following cars may require intake

manifold modifications for injector installation and plumbing.

* 05111 Ferrari 308/328
* 05135 2.0L all Fiero 4 Cyl 1986
* 05140 Porsche 928
* 05144 2.5L Porsche 944
Probably obsolete now, and this listing doesn't stipulate the years/systems that its designed for. It was probably just a standard direct port appl.

You should take another lead off the WOT switch and use it to activate one of Carl's electric exhaust cut outs! Just kidding- no need to add more variables to the modulation of the air-fuel ratio.

Another fun link- adv as 928 NOS vs 911 TT, IIRC Race *puff*
