How wide a wheel and how wide a tire can you stick under a GT's ***? Same question for a GTS?

I know 10s with 275 will work fine on a GT. What about 11s and 295s? 12s and 315s? Can you go 13s with 335s on a GTS?

I'm afraid with my "dinky" 275's I'll be in contention for the longest burnout at SITM this year. Bring your gas masks.

Size isn't everything, Dave. It's most of it, but not everything (at least that's what I keep telling myself).

Paul, you always said you wanted a Euro, well here is the ideal one to get:
86 Euro 5sp manual with 32v engine
If the engine markings pan out it should be a low compression 32 v, making it perfect for DR's twinscrew system!!

Andrew- I ditched the "steam roller" Yokohama's for a set of Falken RE-615's in 255/40-17 on the rear. THESE hook up far better than the 275's ever thought of doing!! I can still leave long strips of rubber from both sides at will, but at least now I have to actually TRY!

Yes they are gummy as hell. NO they won't last more than a year! Who cares....

N!

DR, forgive me if you've already addressed this issue in this thread, in a previous thread, or on your website (I didn't see it if you did), but are you doing anything about correcting the fuel flow measurements used to calculate fuel remaining, MPG, etc. on the 89+ MYs? IIRC, it's calculated based on injector open time (and maybe standard fuel pressure, which you're keeping the same), but is this (adjusting based on higher-flowing injectors) something that the SharkTuner's LH reprogramming can take care of?

BTW, great numbers, and nice to finally see the kit coming together. I knew things would start happening publically at SITM time (which, unfortunately, we can't make this year due to having recently moved and having a huge number of things to take care of at home).

Hope I'm still on the short list... even though my tools are now scattered across two houses and the new garage isn't quite usable yet (we did get a nice epoxy floor put in, though... no cabinets yet).

Fit, Finish and Power.
3 things you will all want in your kits.
Nicely done Dave, and of course Jeannie, cant wait to see the set up in a few weeks and perhaps lend a helping hand turning wrenches.!
Good shttttttuffff. That pulley system is better and nicer than anything i have seen on kits mass produced for Mustangs and the like.
You should be EXTREMELY proud Dave.

Hi Ed,

>DR, forgive me if you've already addressed this issue in this thread, ....

That is a good guestion, I haven't been able to allocate any brain cells to this task yet (ran out 6 months ago:-), but it is on the list.

>BTW, great numbers, and nice to finally see the kit coming together.

Thanks, and that is an understatement.

Sorry you can't make it, you will be missed!!

Call me when you get a chance so we can firm up your position in line since we haven't talked in a while.

DR,
Awesome work! The GT really reacts sooooo nicely to boost, I am always amazed! What HP would that setup produce on a S4 or US S3 with the same boost level?

Are you going to sell upgrade kits or parts for Supermodel kits near the later part of the year?
You got me motivated again to review my SC project and do some work on it.

Tony,

THANKS, see you are SITM and don't forget your "wrenching" clothes :-)

Warren,

THANKS!

?What HP would that setup produce on a S4 or US S3 with the same boost level?

First off please understand this was just our real first tuning session with the 90GT, the tuning is still a work in progress. I am not implying there will be more peak HP(at least until John gets me the EZK SharTuner upgrade), but I am confident I will be able to get even more "across the curve" HP out of it and flatten the torque even more. I would guess we should still be close to the same HP on an S4, maybe 10-15 less and feel I will get slightly more torque out of an S4. This is just based on a little experience and lots of seeing what happens with other systems, only the dyno will say for sure.

>Are you going to sell upgrade kits or parts for Supermodel kits near the later part of the year?

My latest Air Guide design should be adaptable to the those systems and will dramatically increase air flow into the SC (and therefore boost) with the same pulley speed. This should also allow the use of our Cool Air Filter Systems. I have also already designed a way to adapt our idler system to those which will allow smaller pulleys (more boost) without belt slippage and should solve the PS pulley issues. Realistically it will be the last part of this year before I could do anything as right now I am already on about a 4 month backlog with the 32V systems and we haven't even released the 16V info. Gonna be a crazy year.. Anyone need a job ????

>You got me motivated again to review my SC project and do some work on it.

GOOD, "Git R Done" :-)
