Bumping this thread - has anyone found a good solution to replace the unavailable rubber bumper piece? I've got the ratting rear wiper arms issue as well and could use the bumper to keep the blades from skating too far to the left and touching the paint.

I don't know if my '91 has this rubber thing but maybe try adjusting your hatch bumper stop ***** to hold the hatch a little higher. Less hatch movement means less rattle. That fixed my problem.
