I bought a leather dash cover from Rob which I will do. Paul is going to do my pod. It's way beyond my skills.

I had to check with Paul first, because I had promised I would not divulge that I purchased some of the double stick tape that he uses -from him. He's not currently in the business of selling tape, but he seems willing to do so in the future.

I did use some contact cement along the edges where the leather didn't exactly match the tape and to assure that the edges would not come loose.

Rob uses a contact cement of some sort and seems very happy with the results he gets.

I guess you have a couple of choices.

How did this project end up? Please post before and after photos. I'd like to have my seats reconditioned and wanted to know if you were happy with the Color Glo results?

The doors really look refined when covered in leather.
Her's mine recently finished.

As I indicated with the get-together, I'm really swamped. The interior came out great in my opinion, but I have no images to post. I'll take some as soon as possible and you can judge for yourself.

I just got the engine out of the 90 and it has every intake on the drivers side bent - badly. As soon as I get the heads off, I can see if there is any piston damage - keep your fingers crossed.

I've got my fingers and toes crossed... Let me know if you need someone to hand you tools because I'm not far away and am willing to help out if you need it. I’d do it just for the learning experience.

Thanks, but I have to work my passion in between my obligations and I never know when the opportunity will present itself. I got about three hours in tonight and now have an empty engine compartment. FINALLY!!!

I send you an email regarding the Color Glo rep. He's a very nice guy and really seems to be interested in doing a good job.

Hope to get to one of the gatherings.

Rod
